Baldwin's Book Barn is a literary haven tucked away in the heart of West Chester. The historic setting in a dairy barn adds to the charm, and the collection of rare and used books is a treasure trove for any book enthusiast. The knowledgeable staff and cozy ambiance make each visit a delightful exploration into the world of literature. A must-visit for those seeking the magic of well-preserved stories.

Books everywhere! What a place! Fantastic old building with lots of history and character filled with books at every turn you take. The books could be a bit tidier and more organized but I still liked it and thoroughly enjoyed the whole vibe of the place. It has all kinds of books and many categories. They're everywhere! I bought a couple of books and they have local honey, so I bought a jar of that too. I would recommend a visit if you want an adventure in a world of books and just to see what thousands and thousands of books in an old barn look like. It's not organized like a library or has everything new like B&N. So I wouldn't go with having any expectations of finding the latest release by your favorite author, so bear in Mind it is a used book store in an old building. The place is a bit dusty, fusty, there's old creaky stairs, creaky floors, low beams in doorways in places to get to the different floors. I personally love places like that though and I have no problem with it.

This store is wonderful. There are five floors of so many genres of books. I could have spent the whole day there.

The owners seem nice and this is a cool place to explore with four floors and lots of stairs but it wasn’t for our group of readers. Unless you like or are looking for really old books/war books/naval books you probably won’t find much here. The only books from the past two decades I saw was Harry Potter and Breaking Dawn. Prices seemed to generally be half the cover price, which felt high for some books.

First time going to the barn and it was a dream come true! The feeling of this charming book store exceeded my expectations as I explored all four floors. As a English student in college it was fun to thumb through all the famous books I’ve heard of. I had a couple books in mind I wanted to find, I only found two but ended up walking out with six books total! (For a very reasonable price) The management is beyond friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and go visit!

Like books? Be warned then. You'll most likely get lost in the endless aisles of books and lose yourself in stacks of reasonably priced reading for hours! A fascinating place just to visit, I left with 6 books and hadn't even begun. 4 floors, thousands of books. If you're not one to climb narrow stairs or navigate narrow passages, keep that in mind. A must try experience for the avid reader. Has tiny room of DVDs, and sheet music also.

Always fun rambling through the sections of books. You never know what gem you'll find. Books which have someone's flower pressings from their visit to Versailles or signed editions just sitting about

How much can I say about this place? What a treasure! We had a great time and could've spent hours there. The barn itself is a gem. So many cubbies and reading nooks. Carol is an absolute precious soul and is so helpful! We will be back!
